Monique Dhaliwal is a recent CSUB graduate, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public history with a minor in art history and art studios. She is currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) at San Jose State University. Monique has contributed to three significant exhibits: the Red Lining exhibit, the Owtsan House project at the Kern County Museum, and the Basque Arborglyphs exhibit. Her academic and professional interests focus on the connection between public history, archival studies, and cultural preservation, with a special emphasis on how history is represented in museums and public spaces.
